Road freight transport in ۲۰۲۳ beat the ten-year record in Iran
Tehran, January ۲۴, ۲۰۲۴ (MRUD NEWS) —Based on the latest performance report of the transport sector published by Iran Ministry of Roads and Urban Development (MRUD) during nine months from March ۲۰۲۳ to December ۲۰۲۳, nine indices in the road, rail, and maritime sectors have had growths in this year compared to the best records in the last ten years. In the road sector, road freight transport with ۴۲۶ million tons shows ۱۱ percent growth. In the maritime sector, commercial port throughput with ۲۸۶ million tons shows ۵ percent growth.
