Over ۱۰.۶ Million Tons of Essential Goods Unloaded at Ports in First Half of ۱۴۰۳

Tehran, September ۳۰, ۲۰۲۴ (MRUD NEWS)—In the first half of the Iranian year ۱۴۰۳, Iranian ports witnessed the unloading of ۱۰.۶ million tons of essential goods, reflecting a ۱۰% increase compared to the same period last year, according to official data. This surge includes key commodities such as wheat, barley, corn, soybeans, rice, sugar, and oil, each showing varying levels of growth. Growth in Essential Commodities During the first six months of ۱۴۰۳, a total of ۱۰,۶۳۱,۴۷۶ tons of essential goods were unloaded across the country's ports. Among these, barley and corn each registered a ۵% increase, while soybeans experienced an impressive ۹۶% rise. The unloading of sugar doubled with a ۱۰۰% growth, while oil saw a ۷% increase compared to the previous year.
