PMO News Portal – Hossein Abbasnejad, Director General of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Hormozgan Province, said the vessel is set to load ۴۴,۰۰۰ tons of bitumen from one of the oil terminals at the Port of the Persian Gulf. The tanker, measuring ۱۸۳ meters in length with a draft of ۱۲.۵ meters, is the first major oil vessel to dock at Shahid Rajaee Port this year. Rise in Tanker Operations Abbasnejad noted that, during the last Iranian year (ended March ۲۰۲۴), a total of ۱,۴۴۴ oil tankers conducted loading and unloading operations at Shahid Rajaee Port and the Port of the Persian Gulf, marking a ۳.۹% increase compared to the previous year.
